The BMW M5 M Performance Parts (MPP) kit offers a range of high-performance upgrades tailored for the latest generation BMW M5. These enhancements aim to bolster the vehicle's aesthetics, aerodynamics, and lightweight characteristics.
Included in the MPP kit are:
Carbon fiber front splitter: Features a two-stage design to optimize front airflow and increase downforce.
Carbon fiber rearview mirror shell: Reduces weight while maintaining excellent aerodynamic efficiency.
Two-stage rear diffuser: Enhances rear airflow, reduces drag, and boosts downforce.
Titanium/carbon fiber hybrid exhaust tailpipe: Double-sided four-outlet design that not only reduces weight but also delivers a distinctive sound.
Rear spoiler: Enhances rear downforce for improved high-speed stability.
Ice black decals: Adds a sporty and personalized touch on the body's side skirts.
Additionally, the new generation BMW M5 itself has undergone significant upgrades:
Powertrain: It now features a plug-in hybrid system comprising a 4.4-liter V8 twin-turbocharged engine paired with an electric motor. Together, they deliver a combined maximum output of 535 kilowatts and a peak torque of 1,000 Nm.
Performance: The vehicle accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in just 3.5 seconds.
The MPP kit and the updated BMW M5 will be available for pre-sale at the Chengdu International Auto Show starting August 30, 2024.
